Feature Film

The Obsidian Collective is currently developing a slate of feature films for production. Our goal is to create several low budget, high concept films entirely in North Carolina. We endeavor to bring more productions and opportunities to this area; to incite and encourage the growth of the North Carolina film industry while producing independently-funded and highly marketable commercial films.

With the countless advances in digital filmmaking technology there has never been such a fruitful age for independent cinema. Modest-budget films now enjoy the most successful period since the inception of the entertainment industry. Tools and resources that were once used only by the privileged few are widely available to even the most private operations.

The Obsidian Collective utilizes and implements these advances to create the highest quality product at a fraction of the traditional cost. Films are the primary product of our company and we intend to raise the bar on both production standards and quality of work. We're currently expanding our facilities to be able to completely accommodate feature productions from inception through post-production.
