Stories. At the heart of every person is a desire for compelling and interesting stories. As a society we've been drawn to them since the dawn of history. They bring us together. They help us grow. But one art-form has the ability to convey stories and connect with audiences like no other. It's no surprise that in today's world the motion picture industry has not only weathered challenging economic times, but continues to grow and expand. Movie-going is a timeless experience that anyone can relate to and enjoy, and thankfully one that is sure to continue for generations to come.

But in recent times films and videos have grown beyond simple entertainment. As the forms and uses of motion pictures expand they can now reach out to audiences in new ways. Nowadays films still entertain, but they can also educate, excite, inspire, move, and bring audiences together. It's this robust capability that makes filmed projects the primary focus of The Obsidian Collective.

Feature length films aren't the only motion pictures that we strive to create. Our contributing artists actively produce work in short films, documentaries, animations, music videos, and promo/campaign spots. The diverse backgrounds of our members allows us to create a fresh and energetic pallet of presentations across visual mediums. The Obsidian Collective is proud to produce documentaries that educate and motivate audiences to become involved in pressing issues; find fun and unique ways to promote new products; add life to musical presentations; and to move audiences of any age. The list goes on as we constantly search for new ways to push the envelop of the visual medium. We endeavor to embrace projects across all these fields because a story of any size can still engage...
